Be Bolder When It Comes to Your Stakeholder.
Handouts will provide people with additional information about your message and helpful information for your stakeholders. Providing information that will appeal to our target audience will get them interested in attending OU and it will show them exactly why it is the perfect school for them to attend. It is important to identify your target audience and carefully create your message to reach them in a powerful way. You want the handout out to speak to them directly to allow them to truly feel a connection and desire to attend the school.
A great group of potential students to try and get interested in coming to OU is transfer students. As a transfer student, no one is is trying to recruit you to come to their school. It is all about trying to get you at a school right from the start or graduate school. Having seen that personally as I was trying to figure out what my next step in a very unsure new plan would be, I would have loved to feel welcome and wanted somewhere when I already felt scared and confused.
Another potential stakeholder trying to get at OU is students that will be active in the school. Nothing creates a better school environment than school spirit and love for the campus. Having students attend OU that are excited about it’s traditions, getting involved with on-campus organizations or even around the community is a great way to keep this love for OU going.
The specific students being targeted will be 17-20 years of age, ACT/SAT accepted scores or acceptable transfer GPA’s. All females or males already accepted or new applicants that meet all the necessary requires for admission. Active students in high school or community organizations. Students with parents who are alumni as well as those who aren’t.
