Working With Photoshop
I think it was hard getting use to some of the different parts of Photoshop especially because I had never used it before PR Pubs. I do think it was personally a little easier for me to navigate than InDesign was. I think I was already use to having to play around and figure out all the different parts of a design software, so that really helped. I would advice anyone using Photoshop to keep an open mind, don’t get frustrated too easily and use as many how to videos as possible!
I really like using Photoshop, even though I am still learning and have a long way to go. I think if I can give any useful advice to give anyone new to using Photoshop is to learn all the shortcuts you can use. For example if you want to undo something you can just press Z/Cmd. One tip to help you avoid any frustration while working on something important is to start off by just playing around and getting use to all the different parts so you can learn how things work when it really comes down to the important projects. Photoshop has so many aspects, it can enhance the complexity and sophistication of your designs.
This blog post was written for class as we were beginning to learn about Photoshop and how to use it. The assignment was to write about what we had learned and how easy or hard using Photoshop was.
